Fire Breaks Out on Rajdhani Express in Madhya Pradesh

A sudden fire broke out on the Trivandrum-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express in the Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. Massive flames were seen billowing from an AC coach. Railway personnel immediately rushed into action and attempted to bring the fire under control.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday near the Kota railway division. Flames suddenly erupted within one of the train’s AC coaches, which was carrying 68 passengers. Upon noticing smoke and fire emanating from the compartment, the railway guard alerted the loco-pilot. Consequently, the train was brought to a halt at that very spot. Personnel from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) immediately reached the scene and evacuated the passengers from the coaches. The coaches engulfed in flames were subsequently detached from the rest of the train. The fire was brought under control with the assistance of fire engines. No details regarding any loss of life have been reported. Meanwhile, train services along this route have been disrupted in the wake of the incident. A preliminary inquiry has indicated that the accident was caused by a short circuit. The Railway Department has ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident. No one got injury through the fire people inside the train gasped lack of deaths.
