Stock Markets broke the downward spiral on Thursday with marginal gains from Wednesday. Markets started on a high but then soon dropped down. International Stock Markets did not give much hope for Indian traders. With negative signs all around, many thought another session will end in losses. Traders looked to buy few shares at low prices and this helped for a minor recovery. By the end of the trading session of Stock Markets, BSE gained 64.55 points to close at 59,632.35 and Nifty gained 5.70 points to close at 17,624.45 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 59,586.61 mark and then continued to trade between 59,489.98 to 59,836.79 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 59,632.35 by gaining 64.55 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 17,638.60 mark and it hit highest for the day at 17,684.45. Nifty hit the lowest at 17,584.35. The Sensex started low and continued to trade low. But picked up mid-session & ended the session by gaining 5.70 points on 17,624.45.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.16 against US Dollar on Thursday. SBI, Asian Paints, NTPC, Bharti Airtel, Wipro, Titan have been top gainers. Stock Markets are being highly volatile globally and the signs are not that positive. Still, traders are showing some kind of trust in big players for long term recovery. Stock Markets gave slight relief to losing streak but very marginal gains are also not that encouraging.
