Stock Markets Update: Markets scare free-fall and recover!

US recession fears have cribbed International Stock Markets. This has arose new fears in the traders. Hence, they kept falling till the mid-session and as traders started buying, it recovered. By the end of the trading session of Stock Markets, BSE gained 38.23 points to close at 60,431.00 and Nifty gained 15.60 points to close at 17,828.00 mark.

Stock Markets scared a free-fall and recovered on Thursday. The streak of positive gains continued from Wednesday. IT stocks took a major plunge with Google hinting at major lay-offs. Also, US recession fears have cribbed International Stock Markets. This has arose new fears in the traders. Hence, they kept falling till the mid-session and as traders started buying, it recovered. By the end of the trading session of Stock Markets, BSE gained 38.23 points to close at 60,431.00 and Nifty gained 15.60 points to close at 17,828.00 mark.

BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 60,364.41 mark and then continued to trade between 60,081.43 to 60,486.91 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 60,431.00 by gaining 38.23 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 17,807.30 mark and it hit highest for the day at 17,842.15. Nifty hit the lowest at 17,729.65. It kept falling till the mid-session. By the end of the session it rose up and ended the session by gaining 15.60 points on 17,828.00.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.81.82 against US Dollar on Thursday. For 9th straight session, Stock Markets maintained positive gains. But on Thursday, they again scored marginal gains. This time around traders had fears of recession cribbing the world again. Major companies pointing at more lay-offs also did not help the sentiment. Stock Markets need stronger results from Indian companies to survive any free-fall in next sessions.
