Stock Markets on 26th December recovered from Pre-Christmas lows after Christmas weekend. Post Christmas, traders seem to have grown interest in investing and they have bought stocks at their low values. Asian Stock Markets have also registered better performance and this help Indian Markets to recover after record lows. BSE gained 721.13 points to close at 60,566.42 and Nifty gained 207.80 points to close at 18,014.60 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 59,755.08 mark and then continued to trade between 59,754.10 to 60,833.78 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 60,566.42 by gaining 721.13 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 17,830.40 mark and it hit highest for the day at 18,084.10, in the morning. Nifty hit the lowest at 17,774.25 during the opening hours and comfortably ended at 18,014.60 by gaining 207.80 points.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.64 against US Dollar on Boxing Day, Monday. With New Years’ Eve coming up, traders might look at investments even more closely, in coming months. The fear of recession hasn’t gone away and Stock Markets might react wildly, once again if Recession becomes officially. For today, Santa seems to have granted a day of respite for everyone at Stock Markets.
