Stock Markets Update: Markets further crash on Friday!

These factors resulted in Indian Stock Markets to further record losses today and BSE lost 452.90 points to close at 59,900.37 and Nifty lost 132.70 points to close at 17,859.45 mark.

Stock Markets on 6th January continued to crash further. HCL, Axis Bank, Wipro, Bharati Airtel, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank shares have recorded huge losses and International Stock Markets also continued to trade in red. These factors resulted in Indian Stock Markets to further record losses today and BSE lost 452.90 points to close at 59,900.37 and Nifty lost 132.70 points to close at 17,859.45 mark.

BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 60,388.74 mark and then continued to trade between 60,537.63 to 59,669.91 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 59,900.37 by losing 452.90 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 18,008.05 mark and it hit highest for the day at
18,047.40, in the first hour. Nifty went down further and hit the lowest at 17,795.55, mid-session. It slightly recovered to end at 17,859.45 by losing 132.70 points.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.75 against US Dollar on Friday. Stock Markets have ended the first week of January and year, 2023 on a record low. After trading in green during the last week and on first two days, Stock Markets have crashed three days straight. Let’s hope, they trade better in second week before Sankranthi/Makar Sankranthi/ Pongal Holidays.
