
Stock Markets continued to lose on Thursday. Traders have been ever so circumspect even during this session. International Stock Markets had mixed results and the reaction of American Debt Ceiling bill has been flat too. Traders in Indian Markets also seemed to not be sure how to proceed forward. Stock Markets saw marginal gains after a flat start but fell flat down as the session progressed. In the end, BSE lost 193.70 points to close at 62,428.54 and Nifty lost 46.65 points to close at 18,487.75 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 62,736.47 mark and then continued to trade between 62,359.14 to 62,762.41 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 62,428.54 by losing 193.70 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 18,579.40 mark and it hit highest for the day at 18,580.30. Nifty hit the lowest at 18,464.55. The index started flat and continued to dip throughout the session. It ended by losing 46.65 points on 18,487.75.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.42 against US Dollar on Thursday. US Senate has passed American Debt Ceiling Bill. Stock Markets saw very mixed reactions all-over the world to this aspect. Traders from India also decided to sell of options that have been close to expiry. On the whole, Stock Markets seem to be showing very volatile behavior again with all global factors also not exactly helping around. Let’s wait and see, how they perform next week.
