Stock Markets reported formidable gains on Thursday and ended flat on Monday. Markets started on a positive note. And in the mid-session, Stock Markets rose to highest gains of the day. The selling pressure from the traders pushed the markets down. By the end of the trading session of Stock Markets, BSE gained 13.54 points to close at 59,846.51 and Nifty gained 24.90 points to close at 17,624.05 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 59,858.98 mark and then continued to trade between 59,766.23 to 60,109.11 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 59,846.51 by gaining 13.54 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 17,634.90 mark and it hit highest for the day at 17,694.10. Nifty hit the lowest at 17,597.95. It started well and continued to rise. After mid-session, it fell but ended the session by gaining 24.90 points on 17,624.05.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.81.97 against US Dollar on Monday. TCS, Wipro, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, M&M, ITC, Tata Motors and Bharathi Airtel gained in Stock Markets. Volatility in the markets has been alarming traders and they are unable to identify a pattern to rely on. Stock Markets still ending flat would be a good sign.
