Stock Markets on 23rd February crashed further on Thursday. International Stock Markets continued to be more unpredictable and this harmed sentiment of Indian Markets. Further major stocks continued to underperform. At the lowest, few traders bought some of the shares and that helped recover from another crash. Still, the trading session can be called one of the worse in recent times. By the end of the trading session of Stock Markets, BSE lost 139.18 points to close at 59,605.80 and Nifty lost 43.05 points to close at 17,511.25 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 59,777.64 mark and then continued to trade between 59,960.04 to 59,406.31range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 59,605.80 by losing 139.18 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 17,574.65 mark and it hit highest for the day at 17,620.05. Nifty hit the lowest at 17,455.40. It traded in red all-day and ended the session by losing 43.05 points and ended at 17,511.25
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.74 against US Dollar on Thursday. ZEE Entertaiment stock has dropped hugely due to the insolvency claims being highlighted by Bankruptcy court. And other major stocks still continued to bear the brunt of no recovery from inflation fears. Stock Markets seem to end February on a disappointing note.
