Stock Markets on 6th March continued to perform better like Friday. Financial and IT sector stocks have been able to gain the most. Except for Construction sector, all stocks have ended in green and this is a good sign for Stock Markets. International Markets have showed marginal gains for the markets to start on a positive note and they continued same throughout the day. By the end of the trading session of Stock Markets, BSE gained 415.49 points to close at 60,224.46 and Nifty gained 117.10 points to close at 17,711.45 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 60,007.04 mark and then continued to trade between 60,005.65 to 60,498.48 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 60,224.46 by gaining 415.49 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 17,680.35 mark and it hit highest for the day at 17,799.95. Nifty hit the lowest at 17,671.95. It traded in green all-day and ended the session by gaining 117.10 points and ended at 17,711.45.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.81.97 against US Dollar on Monday. Adani Enterprises gained in value by 5% on Monday. Tata Motors, ONGC, NTPC and Power Grid while the losers were Britannia, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco and Larsen & Toubro also performed well on a highly positive day. Stock Markets will be closed on Tuesday on the occasion of Holi.
