Stock Markets recovered slightly on Monday after losses last week. Traders waited for Reliance AGM announcements and results during the session. International Stock Markets did not help traders to invest much in the stocks. They have been circumspect but slowly invested in stocks as the session progressed. Stock Markets did not show major recovery but slightly gained after the end. BSE gained 110.09 points to close at 64,996.60 and Nifty gained 40.25 points to close at 19,306.05 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 64,908.08 mark and then continued to trade between 64,776.92 to 65,213.45 range. Index started low but recovered as the session progressed. BSE ended the trading session at 64,996.60 by gaining 110.09 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 19,298.35 mark and it hit highest for the day at 19,366.85. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 19,249.70. Index started low and recovered progressively. Nifty50 ended by gaining 40.25 points on 19,306.05.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.62 against US Dollar on Monday. Reliance AGM did not announce great results for traders. The stocks of Reliance Industries lost 1.38% in the Stock Markets and stood at Rs.2435.95/-. Vedanta shares have risen by 2.01% as they won the case against Rajasthan Government. L & T, M & M, HDFC Bank, Sun Pharma, Maruthi, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, SBI shares saw gains in Stock Markets. We have to see how traders react tomorrow as 1st September is approaching.
