Stock Markets Update: Indices lost due to options expiry!

Traders kept looking at selling-off their expiring options throughout the session. Stock Markets in the last hour recovered slightly but still ended up losing heavily. BSE lost 255.84 points to close at 64,831.41 and Nifty lost 93.65 points to close at 19,253.80 mark.

Stock Markets lost heavily in the last hour on Thursday. As it is the last day of the month and before September, traders looked to sell-off their options. International Stock Markets did not have much impact on traders, today. Traders kept looking at selling-off their expiring options throughout the session. Stock Markets in the last hour recovered slightly but still ended up losing heavily. BSE lost 255.84 points to close at 64,831.41 and Nifty lost 93.65 points to close at 19,253.80 mark.

BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 65,178.33 mark and then continued to trade between 65,277.04 to 64,723.63 range. Index started with decent profits but soon lost heavily and continued to do so. BSE ended the trading session at 64,831.41 by losing 255.84 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 19,375.55 mark and it hit highest for the day at 19,388.20. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 19,223.65. Index started high and continued to trade low throughout the session. Nifty50 ended by losing 93.65 points on 19,253.80.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.75 against US Dollar on Thursday. Jiofin, Titan, Tata Steel, Maruthi, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, UltraTech Cements stocks did well in Stock Markets. The month ending session of August turned out to be a slight bloodbath for few traders. But this won’t be killing the momentum for Stock Markets in coming days, feel experts. Major number of experts opine that Markets will be back into trading in gains, soon.
