Stock Markets Update: Indices end bull run with mixed results!

Traders have decided to cash in on profits and they sold most of the high performing stocks. Stock Markets hence had mixed results with one index showing marginal gains and another marginal losses. BSE gained 94.05 points to close at 67,221.13 and Nifty lost 3.15 points to close at 19,993.20 mark.

Stock Markets ended their September Bull run with mixed results on Tuesday. Traders have been circumspect again after consecutive sessions of gains. International Stock Markets did not end on huge gains and they did not show much effect. Traders have decided to cash in on profits and they sold most of the high performing stocks. Stock Markets hence had mixed results with one index showing marginal gains and another marginal losses. BSE gained 94.05 points to close at 67,221.13 and Nifty lost 3.15 points to close at 19,993.20 mark.

BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 67,506.88 mark and then continued to trade between 66,948.18 to 67,539.10 range. Index started high and continued to trade in highs and lows through the session. BSE ended the trading session at 67,221.13 by gaining 94.05 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 20,110.15 mark and it hit highest for the day at 20,110.35. At highest, index has hit the lifetime high benchmark. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 19,914.65. Index started high and then fell through mid-session with highs and lows. Nifty50 ended by losing 3.15 points on 19,993.20.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.95 against US Dollar on Tuesday. TCS, L & T, Infosys, UltraTech Cements, ICICI Bank, Nestle India, ITC, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bharati Airtel stocks have registered gains in SENSEX30 index of Stock Markets. September has started on a high and continued to register gains for consecutive sessions. Traders have gone for profit making and that resulted in mixed results. Stock Markets might continue in this fashion for few more sessions.
