Stock Markets Update: First trading session of 2023 in Green!

Majorly, record car sales and high GST returns coupled International Stock Markets going green. BSE gained 327.05 points to close at 61,167.79 and Nifty gained 92.15 points to close at 18,197.45 mark.

Stock Markets on 30th December corrected and on first trading day of 2023, performed better. Indian Stock Markets opened positively on the first day of the year and the different sales results have helped in this matter. Majorly, record car sales and high GST returns coupled International Stock Markets going green. BSE gained 327.05 points to close at 61,167.79 and Nifty gained 92.15 points to close at 18,197.45 mark.

BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 60,871.24 mark and then continued to trade between 60,764.63 to 61,222.79 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 61,167.79 by gaining 327.05 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 18,131.70 mark and it hit highest for the day at
18,215.15, towards the end of the session. Nifty went sharply down twice and hit the lowest at 18,086.50, in the opening hours. It ended the day at 18,197.45 by gaining 92.15 points.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.75 against US Dollar on First Monday. Metal and Infrastructure stocks have performed well as Tata Steel grew 5.73% in a day and China relaxing COVID restrictions also helped Infra stocks. Tata Motors and SML Isuzu managed to record huge growth rates too at Stock Markets.
