Gautam Adani has talked about Hindenburg Report in his new speech. He stated that when Adani Group decided to go for Follow-on Public Offer, FPO, the report has damaged their reputation. Gautam Adani stated that it is a strategic move to damage the biggest FPO ever in India. He also said that Hindenburg has given such a report for their personal gains as a short-seller. Gautam Adani reiterated that the report has brought down stock value rapidly.
He then stated that they had to cancel FPO. Gautam Adani also stated that they have returned money of the investors. He stated that Adani Group had to face many issues and tough times due to the report. Gautam Adani stated that Supreme Court Committee has given them clean chit. He also stated that Adani Group has successfully navigated through those issues.
Gautam Adani stated that the company has no issues in governance. He also reiterated confidence that Adani Group will survive many storms. Well, recently US Federal organizations have started investigating into American investors funds who invested in Adani Group and their stocks. Gautam Adani and Adani Group have stated that they are unaware of these developments.
