Vizag, Vijayawada Metro Projects: Minister Ponguru Narayana made key comments on the metro rail projects of Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada cities. He expressed hope that the Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada metro rail projects will get approvals from the central government soon. It has been revealed that the revised DPR has already been submitted to the Center and we are currently waiting for a positive decision. As part of his visit to Visakha, Minister Narayana paid special attention to the development of popular tourist center Kailasagiri. VMRDA officials have been directed to prepare Kailasagiri master plan. It is suggested that new projects should be undertaken to attract more tourists.
On this occasion, Minister Narayana along with another minister Kondapalli Srinivas started a huge trishul project in Kailasagiri… This trishul, built at a height of 65 feet and with a drum of 18 feet, stands as a special attraction. The structure looks more beautiful with lighting at night. The glass bridge, zip line and adventure sports already established in Kailasagiri are attracting tourists. The longest cantilever built towards the sea in the country is also a special attraction for visitors. Officials said that this Trishul project was developed as per the instructions of CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu with the aim of providing more new experiences to the tourists. Spirituality is also added to it by arranging the trisula, the weapon of Lord Shiva, along with the drum. Built at a cost of around Rs.2.5 crore, this project has been established at a height of 365 feet above sea level. The project, which started on August 18 last year, was completed rapidly. Now it is becoming another major tourist attraction in Visakhapatnam.
