Heat Wave has been severe in India and Telugu states. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states have not seen 40 Degree Celsius temperatures in June third week in recent years. All over India, Heat Wave has been creating a havoc. More than 100 people have died in just last one week. Parents are asking schools to extend summer holidays fearing extreme heat. Monsoons have delayed entry into the nation. They have not been active due to Heat Wave.
IMD has predicted rains to further delay till the end of June in Telugu states. Most recent prediction is that from 21st of June, Telugu states could see some respite from Heat Wave. While Monsoons did enter into Andhra Pradesh, their progress has been halted. Cyclone Biparjoy has further delayed their effect in Indian states. Currently, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have been experiencing very hot conditions. Heat Wave has been severe in Haryana, UP, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh.

Cyclone Biparjoy has created havoc in Gujarat and Maharashtra. It has spread to Rajasthan as well. Heat Wave conditions and humidity have further worsened Monsoon and rainfall onset in several states. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh farmers who start Kharif crop by now, have been waiting for temperatures to cool down. They are trying to arrange water from near by ponds and water outlets due to lack of rains. Heat Wave has been too harsh on people in India. Now, they are hoping for some respite with Monsoons.
