CBI court gives the last chance for Jagan in bail revocation case

AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bail revocation case hearing has been adjourned till 1st June. The CBI court adjourned the hearing once again, giving Jagan and CBI officials the last chance to file a counter-filing. On Wednesday, a hearing was held on a petition filed by MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju seeking revocation of Jagan’s bail.

According to Jagan’s lawyers, the counter was not filed due to lockdown and other reasons. The CBI lawyers told the court that they have not received any instructions from the CBI yet. Narsapuram MP Raghurama’s lawyer objected to this and asked the defendants to pay a fine. However, the CBI court clarified that they are giving the last chance to file a counter. “If the counter is not filed on 1st June, a direct inquiry will be held.”, said the CBI court.
